Il Giardino del Belvedere is a lovingly
restored farmhouse lying in an extensive natural garden stretched
out towards the hills of Pratomagno. Many inviting pathways meander
through meadows of wild flowers and olive groves. The house itself
reflects the peace and tranquility of it's surroundings. The rooms
are spacious, furnished with antiques, yet offering every modern
convenience. Belvedere is only 10 km away from the main highway
A1. The beautiful medieval town of Montevarchi can be reached in
10 min. by car. Montevarchi has a large shopping center, tennis
courts and a regular train service to Florence, Arezzo and every
main Italian city. The whole house accommodates a maximum of 16
people with private swimming pool (4 meters x 9 meters), barbecue
and outdoor dining area.
The house can be divided into two parts. Part
A can accommodate maximum 11 people. Part B can accommodate maximum
5 people. Ground floor: spacious living/dining room with tv/vcr/satellite,
telephone line, tape/cd/tuner and large open fireplace. 2 kitchens
both fully equipped with fridge-freezer, large stove/oven and dish
washer. (1 has a wood fired pizza oven), 2 double bedrooms, 1 with
extra bed, 1 bathroom with bath, 1 bathroom with shower. Separate
laundry room with washing machine. First floor: large living room
with 3 arched windows overlooking the garden. 5 large double-twin
bedrooms (2 double with en-suite bathroom, 1 double with extra bed
and 1 twin which share bathroom. The weekly charges include: - a
welcome Tuscan dinner for the first evening, - cleaning on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday, - weekly change of linen, - water, electricity,
gas.
